On April, 7th we we celebrate „World Health Day“. You might have heard about it, but what does this campaign stand for?
Back in 2015, the World Health Organization (WHO) called on world leaders to live up to the pledges they made when they agreed the Sustainable Development Goals. This means ensuring that everyone, everywhere can access essential quality health services without facing financial hardship.
In this year, Etudes Sans Frontières – Studieren Ohne Grenzen Deutschland e.V. also supported a scholarship holder in Kindu: Songolo Elizabeth Catherine studies health care and wants to sensitize the people in her hometown who fall ill with the germ-laden water from the nearest river.
