In Germany, the 24 October is dedicated to libraries. It is clear that we, as Études Sans Frontières, but even more as students also celebrate this day!
You would certainly agree if we say that libraries are one of the most important cultural and educational institutions. They are the centerpiece of every university and studying without them would be much harder or even unthinkable.
That is why we started to send books to Grozny (Chechnya) within the scope of our same-titled project. Since 2012, we could send two times a bunch of books with the aim to improve the educational infrastructure, so the students are able to study again under normal conditions.
If you also a big fan of education and libraries, and want to become part of our movement, feel free to join us!
