As of today’s May 25, the European Union’s new rules on data protection and privacy – called the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR – take effect. The main promise is to bring EU residents stronger protection of their personal information and give them the opportunity, to opt in or opt out of such databases. As for Etudes Sans Frontières International (ESFI), we ensure our users to store no such information on any servers or web/cloud-based utilities.
About five times a year you may receive a newsletter from us, in which we inform you about the latest news from our chapters worldwide. Therefore, all the information we ever collected over the past years were email addresses only! You may remember signing up for it some time ago? If you wish us to delete your address from our locally stored database and drop out of this distribution channel, do not hesitate to inform us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Of course we do not want to lose you as one of our beloved supporters, but we take YOUR data seriously! Have in mind, that you can always follow us on Facebook for the latest updates on our chapters.
Thank you for your trust and all the best,
the International Executive Committee of 2017/2018
